Worse - I have been asked to post here the sad news that Bart is now in the hospice. He's on morphine and not in too much pain, drifting in and out of consciousness. It can't be very long now.

Sorry to dredge up this old thread but I feel compelled to express my grief over this heartbreaking news. I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a bit of a crush on Pieces even though we had never met in person.

We were making tentative plans to meet someday , I was suitably in shock and awwwe .
It took many months to get over the inferiority complex I was feeling at the time ( I had just lost my eye and told i will be paralysed ) to agree to chat via skype .
I was both elated and thought i had plenty of time to work on my charm , but there was no time .
I have no words to express my regret , I think she would have had fun with me chasing her around the ship .

Aye, such hard losses. No wonder most deserted this place. Arrrg why it have to be this way.

Pasta is not "an" art, it is the art. Any Italian(whom I think are second only to pirates, though that is not my call to make) can attest to that. It is unfortunate that a vast majority of them have forsaken His Noodlyness whom gave them His Saucy Knowledge of how to make great pasta in the first place.
