I tried to find the original lyrics of "The Tinker of Rye" some time ago, but don't think they've made it to the internet yet. One of the books about the film said it was hard to find.

Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I forgot to Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! on several of my posts above. My apologies.

Maybe some fervent Wicker Man fans could dig under the road where the lost film rolls are suspected to rot away.

Try and get to see the longer Director's version. It has preliminary scenes on the mainland, Woodward wandering in the graveyard, and the Ash Buchanan scene Swatopluk mentions.
The soundtrack is good too in a folky sort of way, though it might not make much sense without the film.

Yarrrr.

I'll look out for it.

But wait! I have an idea! I am going over to my roommate's house this weekend, maybe we could rent it!

Yes, the remedy to dorm living!

Other people's houses!!!
