daftbeaker may have done something silly again

This is where we confer honor on those who have earned the title of Prophet. Or, where we mock them. One or the other.

RIght, the suggestions seemed to have dried up.

Unless anyone has any amazing new suggestions, I'll get Bart to put these in a poll:
Accident waiting to happen
The English Patient
Help! I've fallen and can't get curry
Cap'n Catastrophe
Usually plastered
Some assembly required
Will bruise for booze

(in no particular order)
Too old to give up but too young to rest - Pete Townshend

I would rather be a rising ape than a falling angel - Sir Terry Pratchett

Don't rush it DB, the Admids seem to be snoozing at the switch about handing out names.

I'm sure we can come up with some more......

The Admins are like the sleeping Greek Gods...and some of them have got equally long beards...

No...I didn't mean you Cap...please don't hit with the leather whip again...you know Ken Worley likes that sort of thing but I prefer a nice massage...ouch!

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

We'll get a vote going for this just as soon as we have revived the admins from their collective coma!

I don't understand. I have seen Capellini logged in, I wonder why she hasn't done anything yet, or even PMed you to explain why she can't/won't give people their titles or give you mods the power to do so?

I'll answer that as best we can, Tig. Bart and I are alternating on getting these through. That gives each of us a chance to rest up a bit before tackling our next turn.***

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the sensible dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong
To pm, when it isn't visible or appreciated
To pm, when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable admin.

This is our quest
To follow up on the title
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far.

To fight for the title
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For an FSM cause.

And we know if we'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That our souls will lie peaceful and calm
When we're at the beer volcano.

And the world will be better for this
That two mods, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with their last ounce of bandwidth
To reach the unreachable admin.

:worship: Wonderful poem Pieces....

I've been released from therapy now...but they say I need a months rest before I attempt another poll.

It was Cap who waved her magic mouse in the end...from under a pile of Monkey bones.
