Found: one puppy, begging for crisps from strangers. Answers to "Last Post."

Prove your ownership and I will return said puppy to you.

Last Post in the name of couch eating puppies.

Suspect's stolen car breaks down, so he decides to steal another one. He runs to a car, shoves the driver over to the passenger seat, and announces he is "jacking [his] car." He takes $2 from the guy, jumps in the seat, and can't drive his new ride because it has a manual transmission. The deputies picked him up a couple of minutes later, still swearing at the 3rd pedal.

$2 and a car he can't move. Three felonies. Possibly, the world's worst criminal.

Last post.

My career as a criminal got off to a bad start whilst I was still at school (Last Post). I attached some string to my dinner ticket in a cunning plan to retrieve the ticket after the dinner lady had placed it in the tin/receptacle for used tickets. Unfortunately when I yanked the string it freed not just my ticket but a huge cloud of dinner tickets somewhat giving the game away. :facewall:

I was sentenced to four days on the school rubbish dump.

You got off easy, Bart.

Yesterday, I had to fill in at another office (one magistrate retired with little notice; another went on maternity leave). On the weekends, we have 12 hour shifts. This office is a 1 1/2 hour drive in the best case scenario. It poured rain and flashed lightning all the way home. I was gone 16 hours and 15 minutes. The first few hours were quiet, but the last 8 hours, I worked without a break. A rude awakening after 3 days off!

I think I need to take the Last Post for comfort.

A very significant piece of pre-modernist poetry:

Jose
rhymes with today
anyway,
so I'm taking the last post away.
Hooray!
