I used to be a registered independent, until I realized the oxymoron inherent in the concept. Now I'm just not affiliated with any party.

Yea, I don't know if that's entirely accurate. They gave me a form to fill out, and I just ticked the independent box cause I was tired and assumed you had to choose one of em. So I dunno, that's just what I assumed I was. I suppose it's not that oxymoronic if you look at it from the standpoint that you registered as someone who's not affiliated with any party, which is how I see it, or registered as your own party, comprised entirely of yourself, which could make sense, and is awesome.
