Also, happy birthday Dark Noodle, aka Rev. Jo Freddie.
It is so creepy that you guys do this every year, and yet so sweet at the same time.

The thin line between genius and insanity is less of a border than a union.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

took me a loong time to realize this thread was started for me. 5 years belated thanks, WoE!!
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Thank you, Roy! I am now officially bloody ancient.
Thank you also for the pretty cake - I am trying to remember what I used to do to things like that.

"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

Will we be keeping up with the birthdays of all the worlds countries or just our own.
Since my location is relatively uncertain I'm for the option of a belated congrats to all the world's countries.
