Terry Nutkins, TV wildlife presenter aged 66. I always thought he was a nice man and I remember him because he had his finger bitten off by an Otter.

I loved Terry Nutkins. He was a staple of my youth, watching him on children's TV. A sad loss.

We need a new thread...Guess who they've dug up?

Richard III :drinking:

He was innocent of murdering the princes in my opinion and had he lived would have made a good King...lets hope his bones show he was no Shakespearean Hunchback and that he went down fighting.

Apparently Richard's Bones (if they indeed ARE his bones) show that he definitely went down fighting but he did have a crooked spine.

The Metaphor

Okay, maybe this doesn't belong here, but I was researching short story types and found a link to this among the wiki articles. The first thing that came to mind was, "I should share this in the 'Did you hear who died' forum on venganza."

Interesting, so if I said:

We did it on the fly, for example...I would be using a 'dead' metaphor.

He is definitely recognised as the person who truly promoted and led what is now commonly termed ‘kind modern dog training methods’ not only in the UK, but in 50 of the 52 States of the USA

Does anyone know which two states hasn't seen the light yet?

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."
