Greetings and Noodly Salutations

Postby whiskeymouse » Wed Aug 02, 2006 6:04 pm

Hey

I've been coming here for quite a while, and am not usually one for discussion. I find that people get to worked up about most things to even bother, but this seemed like a fun one.

Anyway, the way I figure it, us Pastafarians need to support His message. His word is equally as vaild, more so in my humble opinion, as any of the worlds other creation storys.

May His Noodly Greatness lead us all into an age of enlightened free thinking tolerant civilization.

:fsm:

P.S. The world can always use a few more good pirates. Yar.

Welcome aboard, Whiskeymouse! I agree, we must spread the word. Religion need not be stifling, humourless and tedious. This is the dawning of the Pastafarian age! Glad you're with us.

I am so thrilled to have found the Church of the FSM and this forum. I have seen cars with the pirate fish on them and wondered what they are from and now I can finally get myself one and know what it means.

And now I know why I have always loved pasta so much--I must be touched by his Noodly Appendage when I eat it.

:D

yar, hallo everyone!
i have been following the pastafarian movement for some time, but have always felt too humbled by Him and all His followers to join.
just kidding!
but i am quite against intelligent design being taught in schools, mostly because i'm still in middle school, and do not appreciate the idea that only the christian version of intelligent design will be taught.

well, that's about all i have to say about my opinion on intelligent design, short as it may be, and i think thats the only thing worth describing on this 1st post.

Welcome, new converts!

about discussion groups: you may look into the "gatherings" folder for info on FSM related activity in your neighbourhood.

We are here to spread the word and to discuss things seriously (although we have some areas of free insanity here too).
Onward noodly pirates!

Hello BeAstounded, foreverdaed and calamarine!

I'd go to the All Things FSM threads and read up on some of the school projects that Pastafarians have been involved in. You can start a new post there and ask for suggestions.

All my life I was a Christian. I thought I was serving the one, true God. How wrong I was. But His Great Noodliness touched me, and I have never been the same since!

I have been touched by His Noodly Appendage.

I've been a closet (kitchen cupboard, perhaps?) Pastafarian for about a year now, finally decided to start lurking good an' proper on the forum. All my life I've loved spaghetti, and pirates, and when I discovered His Noodliness, I finally knew why.

And yes, I'm Irish. *throws some random gibberish to appease everyone*

heh heh heh. excelent. I'm sure you'll fit in. lots of piratey accents and hijinks going on in the Pirate forum, perhaps you could go there being irish-pirate.
