im on the Gold Coast... I've tried to convert my friends but to no avail.. its time for serious action! I think that to get on the news or something like that we need to do a mass protest against something (the liberal government anyone?)

And i am in total agreement about crying when hearing about our government.. under the new terror laws we won't be able to insult our government because it will be considered something that could lead to an act of terrorism.. SOMEONE SHOOT JOHN HOWARD AND GEORGE BUSH... cough cough i didn't just say that. Everytime i see the new ads for 'Work Choices' I scream at the TV and it amazes me how a man that leads a prominant western country could be so stupid, i no this is all for govermental profit but i mean didn't they have 7 billion dollars left over last year? how much more can they take from us? and what angers me most is that most people don't care, im 14 and im a raving lunatic against the government... i should be worrying about what colour i should dye my hair, but no i worry about the stupid shitty dumbfuck government.

Yeah i was kinda up for a bit of dinner an booze, or if the majority are too young for the later: lunch and coffee. I have a tad too much fair time on my hands.

It would be great for us guys to get together before FSM-mas - although it's difficult we are a bit scattered geographically.

Well, thats not quite true Iron John. Although the anti- terror laws are scary and are very bad for us as a society they are not as bad as that.
The really interesting one that everyone seems to have missed is this new Victorian law which basically legalises torture of people suspected of having important anti-terror information. AND that if the subject dies during this 'interrogation' neither the government nor the agency carrying out this interrogation are able to be held accountable. This law snuck through with little more than a questioning article from a law professor at Deakin being run in the Age!
And the government is planning on mobilising the Army during the Commonwealth Games to act as extra security/police on the Melbourne streets. Which goes against the fucking constitution! They arent allowed to do that!
grrrr, I'm starting to get a bit riled up so i think I'll leave it at that.

we've got to do the kombi van thing (i have i friend with a kombi who would probably be up for it), and i am definatly up for leafleting at hillsong!, and of couse with gathering with ye all in worship by means of drinking, or whatever.
