Denver Area Gathering?
Anyone interested in a gathering in Denver and/or Boulder? The Donkey Den seems to be the perfect place! http://www.donkeyden.com
May FSM touch you with his noodley appendage.
I'm in Denver too...
... but there is an utter dearth of proper pirate bars. As for the Donkey Den, I'm friends with the protesters so that would probably be a no go.
There is Pints Pub (just a couple blocks from the Donkey Den, across the street from the jail), and though the Brits aren't too keen on being associated with pirates, we all know the best pirates are Brits...
Ya know, I'm thinking, we have mountains and trees, and perhaps we could find a short person to serve as the Midget... I do belive Denver is the ideal location for a great shrine to Him.

Well...
... there are a couple Italian places down on the 16th Street Mall (easy to find and central location). Maggiano's, despite being a chain resturant (I prefer independent small businesses), in the Pavillions is really pretty good. Not to mention it is both a bar & a resturant. And there are a few others as well...
As for the shrine/photo-op, I think Denver is a great place for it, though we'll need some sort of effigy of Him, or perhaps just someone who is good with Photoshop.

A bit off topic - not specifically FSM related - but some folks visiting here might be interested in our new campaign to preempt ID in Colorado:

Wow, I can tell that this hasn't really been touched upon in a while. Not many Pastafarians in Colorado, from what I can see. The only Pastafarians here that I know either know about it because I introduced them to it or I have told them about it.

Hello fellow CO Pastafarians!
I was just thinking I should post a thread for us and then I found you. Yay! I'm all about hangin out. Although I may have to steel my nerves to go to Boulder, being from FoCo myself....JK! (really! I like Boulder!). Peace, y'all
Can't say I've ever been to the Donkey Den before

There are a couple of us Pastafarians down in the springs, if people ever wanna hang out and drink some beers.
People would rather fight for freedom of speech, instead of thought... which is more easily avoided.

I'm in Colorado Springs. Pretty sure I can bring out a couple of open minds if theres a gathering. or beer

I too, am a Pastafarian in FoCo, and it does seem that we faithful are under-represented in Colorado; clearly we need to step up our spreading of His Noodly Word...

Moving to Denver this week. I'm sure I'll barely notice the change from Orlando.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.
