What have I missed?! I take a short involuntary hiatus and I come back to see Ken leave? From now on I will have to check Ken’s posts first since my leisurely perusal of today’s posts caused me to miss his last post here by over an hour!

Ken, I want you to know that I have seriously enjoyed every contribution you have made and sympathize with your frustrations here. I put a lot of effort into choosing my words and yet I also feel that my meaning/intention doesn’t always come across.

Ode to Ken Worley

Though your name is Ken Worley
And ye can be a Big Girly
The Pirates salute ye
As ye disappear cross the sea

We shall miss all those rants
And attempts to get into Cap's pants
Stop rubbing that bus
Ye'll get covered in rust

Ye're a chef in the kitchen
Ye've a brain like Christopher Hitchens
It's amazing you've lasted
Ye sarcastic bastard

But we hope ye come back
With your tools in your sack
As ye toss on the waves
Rant Rave and Misbehave
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Did you know that in Britain, one out of every four potatoes is eaten in the form of chips?

You mean like when someone publicly calls your stated reasons for something...

Ken, I believe your biggest and maybe only real issue on here is that you fail to keep in mind that this is cyberspace. Much of your humor requires a certain delivery that isn't possible. Things that you say which seem so silly to you that no one could take them seriously are put on forums where people say far crazier stuff every day with completely sincere intent. The only other way anyone would be able to tell humor from aggression is by knowing you personally, and yet you state here that you post in forums that many of us don't read constantly or carefully.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Did you know -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snark_(punctuation)

- may be of use in certain cyber situations?

There are also punctuation marks for:
doubt
certitude
acclamation
authority
indignation
and love .

The life expectancy of Americans is 75.8 years. The life expectancy of a rock star is only 36.9 years.

To quote Mark Twain " There are lies, damned lies and statistics"

This falls under the statistics catagory as presented on this web site: http://www.av1611.org/rockdead.html
brought to you by the unbiased folks of "Dial the truth ministries"

This is a bogus statistic...they only list people that have died and do not add in the ages of the still living rockers

My opion is ...If Keith Richards is still alive and well, god (if it exists) got no problem with rock & roll :)

Granted...Keith Richards is alive...but well????

All his rock star mates died from the toxic fumes he breaths out (apart from Mick and a few others and they're just fossilized). I once ran into Mick Jagger in Richmond Park...it was really embarrassing because my dog 'Ernie' tried to shag his dog.

Urine is stored mainly in the proctodeum (part of the cloaca) which act as a bladder and it is changed dramatically in size.
And so the ostriches can urinate and defecate separately.

Did you know that one way of dealing with a 'bear attack' is to pretend that you are a fish...

The bear will bang your head against a rock to stun you. Then at least you wont feel anything when it rips you apart.
