Did you know that on the Think Humanism forum there is a thread called 'Oxymorons'?
Please, Bart, can I post 'Welsh Premier League' in it? :fsm_rock:

Did you know that I started my day by driving 30 minutes to watch a crowd of people chant in Hebrew for 3 hours? Did you also know that I'm still not sure what happened there?

Farf, the county of Herefordshire came first, about 1,200 years ago. The history is very, very complicated and I could easily bore you to death with it.

The cattle breed goes back only about 250 years. The breed went out of fashion here and was more important abroad, but it's really making a comeback lately. Herefordian people often refer to themselves as 'White-Faces'. I'm not a White-Face, I've only been here 15 years.

Did you know I'm so tired I originally read that as "White-feces"? I was thoroughly confused.

That I can't stand the taste eggs leave in my mouth after I eat them or the smell they leave on the plates, pots, pans, bowls. :barf:
When I was younger it never was an issue. Now, I almost hate to eat/cook eggs.

Did you know that I look even dumber with mutton chops than I do with a full, crazy mountain man beard?

Did you know...

...that in the early '80s, taking on a whole new genre, horror maven George Romero directed several of the era's most iconic music videos.
However, few know that his first and favorite music-vid-directorial outing was done using a pseudonym,
reportedly for contractural-conflict reasons.

The nom de plume?..Robert (Bob)-Giraldi.

The video?...Love is a Battlefield, by Pat Benatar.

...seriously.

Well I decided to watch the video on YouTube and I noticed this comment underneath:

This is the video that shaped my life and cemented my dream of becoming a filthy whore. Now I await the moment to defeat my pimp with the power of dance. Benatar - you are my mentor and the voice of my soul.

You can sort of understand that Zombie Movies would be the next step.

Did you know that common sense and reason overcame instinctive parental protective instincts this morning?

I rounded a corner at church this morning, and there in front of me was Qwerty with his arm around UDK#1.

Suspicion flared; violence creeped close to the surface. A narrow, suspicious fatherly focus on my eldest daughter slowly broadened to include the ten or so teens posing for a group picture, of which Qwerty and UDK#1 were only 2, all of whom had an arm or two around a neighbor or two.

Violence averted.

For now.

Did you know that I know better? Purely parental instinct, quickly overcome by rationality.

Did you know that this morning I was putting on my combat trousers, caught my big toenail and ripped half of it (the nail) off?!!!

(This particular toenail has a weakness caused by a female hockey player hitting me in the toe many years ago and knocking off said nail     :furious: :furious: :furious: )
