Where is he? Before you answer, watch what he does next...

He picks up the coin, walks due East for a mile and drops it again. Then he walks due South for one mile, due East for one mile, and due North for one mile. He arrives back at the coin.

Just in case anyone cares, there are lots of places where this works.

Roughly a sixth of a mile from the S pole there is a line of latitude which is exactly a mile long. Start off anywhere a mile North of that line and it works.

Roughly 1/12 of a mile from the S pole, there's a line of latitude exactly 1/2 a mile long. Start a mile North from that line and it works too.

And so on.

A man is driving down the road listening to the radio. The song on the radio ends. When this song ends, no new song comes on. There is just dead air. The man pulls the car to the side of the road and shuts off the engine. He takes out a handgun and shoots himself in the head.

He killed his wife

The death of his wife was responsible for the end of the music.

His wife was not the DJ

The Nature/lyrics of the song are unimportant.

Did his wife sing the song?

So..

he killed his wife at the radio station, and the dj left the radio to help her, then, when the music ended, he shot himself for no apparent reason?

Shit...you already said no!

Wait...

No, you are so close, but you are messing up his motive for killing himself.

He was the dj, but then he shot his wife, and when the music ended, he shot hiself because...

he loved his wife?

He hated his wife?

that was his plan all along?

The voices told him too.

Holy shit.

Okay, so

He's a DJ. He didn't realize that she had called in his song to be played earlier in the day. He added the song to the playlist, killed his wife, and then, realizing while listening to the song that she had called it in, realized that she really did care for him, and then shot himself.
