Oooh, when's that at its peak? I'll have to ascend from My Hell and camp out on someone's hill for it; the vapours obscure the view even if the tortured screams add an appropriate soundtrack.

Doc Otis,

It will peak Saturday, Aug. 12th into the morning of the 13th. Predicting as many as 60/hr. but as I said, a lot of light contamination this year from that nearly full moon. I go away camping also in the mountains to see it every year, take the canoe out onto the lake and then lay back against the cushions with a little Chevas over ice. My idea of nirvana on my hill (I'm a simple girl, simple pleasures).

If you can't get away that weekend, the shower will continue through the week, just not as many.

I object...that's leaving less for me to shoot on My Hill!
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Waiting for the verdict on My Hill (don't worry, the case isn't about me).

so what is it a verdict on? what happens TO you, as in parents discussing something without you?

or something completely different?

like the will of a python.

It's the verdict of a trail, the subject of which has nothing to do with me, my friends, my family, anyone I know at all, my therapist, my spiritiual leader, my taxi driver, no, nothing like that.

Yeah, it's a real trial, with lawyers and a judge (who's a jerk, by the way, the lawyers and I agree on this much), and as far as I know, I don't have a therepist, and I'm my own spiritual leader.
