The "X-ing the Y" Game
We've all seen it. That business that wants to do something to something, one something at a time. Well, this is your chance to see if you've got what it takes to create an unoriginal tagline.
The formula goes: X-ing the Y, one Z at a time!
For example, a company that makes eyeglasses might have the tagline:
"Helping the world see better, one pair of eyes at a time."
Some modification to the formula is allowable. There is a local business in the home décor field that uses:
"Making friends, one room at a time."
RULES:
1: Start your posts by making an "X-ing the Y" for the someone-or-something that the previous person posts.
2: End your post with a someone-or-something for the next person to start with.
3: Post as many other "X-ing the Ys" as you want in between 1 and 2.
To start:
James Bond

US Government: Kicking the can down the road, one issue that if they actually made the sensible solution, would alienate huge swaths of voters, at a time.

"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

Building my dream home, one Lego at a time!
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

The circumstances of the world are continually changing, and the opinions of men change also; and as government is for the living, and not for the dead, it is the living only that has any right in it. That which may be thought right and found convenient in one age, may be thought wrong and found inconvenient in another. In such cases, who is to decide, the living, or the dead? -Thomas Paine
