Medieval eye chart.
"Mit der Dummheit kämpfen Götter selbst vergebens."
("Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain.")
-- Friedrich Schiller (1759–1805)
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
-- Philip K Dick
What happens when all the renewable energy runs out?
-- Victoria Ayling
English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

No, that's a Sheela na Gig. That particular one's been on a church not far from me, for nearly 900 years. It's an Irish symbol and many think it's a pagan thing.
It's a woman holding her labia wide open, and her breasts dangle down - one now broken.

Re: ahem
The breasts are long and thin and line up perfectly with the legs. So I thought they WERE legs. They go over the arms, which was weird. The hand position is what you would expect from goatse. But it was extremely weird that the opened orifice would be facing forward like that.
Which all brought to my Picasso's penchant for showing an object from multiple perspectives at one.
I knew that wasn't it, but it explained why it looked the way my mind perceived it.
