Perhaps we are expecting too much from you, Bart. We regret this terribly and only hope to somehow make ammends. Not that it matters.

^ you're banned for not leaving a legible post in the 'If ______ is the answer, what is the question?' thread.

EDIT: How silly of me to think I was in another thread. It's almost like I was mislead by a blathering idiot.

Let us examine the definition of passive-aggressive - "personality that harbours aggressive emotions while behaving in a calm or detached manner" I think I do this quite well actually in real life, so this could be a cake walk for me. OK here goes............(sound of my knuckles cracking, readying myself to slay the weak)
to Black Bart: the "avant gard" reference was so clever, but French for "front" is actually "devant". There are some really great beginner's French classes out there you might want to research, it's just so much fun to create word puns when you actually know the words.
.......how was that for my first round?

to: The Rev. R. Redbeard,
You mentioned you were "mislead by a blathering idiot" don't feel bad, sometimes I get mislead to - although generally by highly intelligent manipulators.....

Pennefromheaven, you were short-changed by a significant margin you poor dear. You are worth at least two halfpennies.

(P.S. Sadly two “players” on this thread, Black Bart and Pieces o’nine, are deceased. It is my loss I never “met” either of them, but reading through the old posts shows both were wonderful personalities.)

I must commend your efforts to make the new people feel welcome, keep at it and someday you'll be successful.

Thankyou lads for your kind sentiments, I much appreciate it. But where is the "aggressive" part of your respective posts? You're likely to be banned by Nef Yoo if you are not careful!

It's great that you're trying to understand how to play this game.

It's fine that you didn't understand I was talking to Monobaz.

No, really, it's no problem at all.

Try as I may to understand this game I just don’t seem to “get it” largely because certain confounded Moderators/Administrators (who shall remain nameless) keep interrupting the natural flow of the thread which in turn is only natural because they are simply doing their jobs but given they are paid the big bucks one could be forgiven for assuming they might be slightly less intrusive and allow us plebs to play albeit ever so poorly owing to the fact we have no idea of what we are doing and so we/I take full responsibility for the completely unjustified and unnecessary intervention. Thankyou for putting this situation right.

Excuse the sly lips Roy, I was just practicing. Lord knows a slight shove in the right direction was certainly in order because I am so very new at this game I need every bit of moderating you can muster.
