Much as I hate the Daily Mail, they do have some awesome pictures (my old thunderstorm and volcano pic was a Mail one as well). This is my new background, it's a shot of a crater on Mars taken from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

Indeed. That's part of the reason I like that picture, because the lightning bolts dwarf the Empire State Building in height. It invokes imagery of some ancient battle between the gods, with mankinds feeble attempts at greatness made to look pathetic by comparison.
