Currently re-watching the entire Monty Python's Flying Circus.
I'll let you know what my favorite is after seeing them all again.
If I remember.

John Cleese hated doing that sketch, because it hurt his knees.
There's some relatively useless information for you.

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam....
The Space Aliens in Life of Brian.
The Crimson Permanent Assurance (It's fun to charter an accountant! And sail the wide accountant-sea!
And Michael Ellis Day - the whole episode. I've read that it's mostly made of bits that were originally intended for Holy Grail. They had planned to have the grail found at Harrods - you can buy anything there!

You should have put that in the 'Did you know thread'. It could do with perking up a bit...the trouble is when you post: Did you know that John Cleese hated doing the Ministry of Silly Walks sketch, because it hurt his knees...everyone will say 'Yes, we know.'

Then you turn it around by saying: "It was rhetorical, dumbasses", as the thread is a repository for rhetorical questions, I guess.

I love the bit in 'Life of Brian' when Michael Palin (who has always made me laugh just by looking at him) is very politely dishing out the crucifixes (one cross each, first on the left) and Eric Idle sais 'No thanks, I'm for freedom actually.'
