So I went to RT today to look at what's out, and I saw something I've never seen before. Disaster Movie's RT rating is 0% !!

It shocked me so much I went over to IMBD's 100 worst list, and It's #1 on there already!

I mean that must be one seriously awful movie...
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Awwh man! I wanted to see that movie! Too bad it's sucky.

Eragon makes the worst movie for me. I nearly cried, they butchered it up so badly.
Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty.
Wash: If I were unwed, I would take you up in a manly fashion.
Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause your pretty.
(Wash and Kaylee, Firefly, Heart of Gold)

It's a broken hearts parade
And I'm putting my heart out on display
There's no masquerade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band strikes up and they're playing a song
Dressed in black, and we're singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I've never been better then I am today

(Broken Hearts Parade - Good Charlotte)

I think I may have actually cried, at some point.

I don't blame you. That director was on crack, I swear.

The movie would have been good had I not read the book before.

I can't wait to see how badly they screw up Eldest.

I don't think that way, I was just thinking how sad I'll be if they screw up G.I.Joe.

You have a good Eragon movie. It's called Star Wars.

We rented Rush Hour 3. After the movie, we systematically destroyed the surface of the disk, and took it back. We had to prevent anyone else from viewing that abomination. I'm not sure if it was as bad as Birth Of A Nation, though.

Lol, I know. The storyline is the same, but Eragon has its own backstory and stuff, and that's the part I like about books.

I actually took the most issue with his writing itself. I haven't read the book in a couple years, but I distinctly recall a line about traveling through "myriad" tunnels. Yeah, myriad means a lot, but it usually refers to, like, hundreds or thousands. There were plenty of those situations throughout the book, which just struck me as a kid showing off his vocabulary for no purpose but to show off.

And then later I became annoyed that the current biggest selling book in the US and Canada was basically plagiarized.

It was not plagiarised.

That storyline has been around for thousands of years. If anything, Lucas plagiarised it first.

And one of my problems with Star Wars was that it wasn't terribly original, which would be why I was mildly annoyed, rather than livid. Star Wars was a good, unoriginal movie, but Eragon was a mediocre, unoriginal book. It blatantly ripped from Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Dragonriders Of Pern, and basically every other unoriginal fantasy novel/movie ever, rather than trying to come with any original ideas.

Suure. When people are around to see you watch it it's terrible. When you're home alone late one night when it comes on Cinemax, however....
