The Greatest Show on Earth. How did this piece of high-budget maudlin dreck ever manage to win best picture? What were the voters thinking?
Also terrible: SOB (topless Julie Andrews - that's just wrong), Exit to Eden (horrible adaptation of the book) and The Passion of the Christ (for obvoius reasons).

Might have missed some of the thread, but did anyone mention "Plan 9 From Outer Space"?

Only repeatedly. But it gets a special exemption - it's so bad you just have to watch.

I still can't get over Disaster Movie. How could it really be that bad?

Epic Movie was, too.

I loved Epic Movie. THAT was a fantastic parody. I haven't seen Meet the Spartans yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
... I'm going to see Disaster Movie when it comes out on DVD, dammit. It can't suck that badly!
Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty.

Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause your pretty.

Just a funeral march for love today
The band strikes up and they're playing a song
Dressed in black, and we're singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I've never been better then I am today

See, the Monty Python films were fantastic parodies. Anything from the "Movie" franchise, excepting the ones done by the Airplane! guy, which had their moments, sucked horrible amounts of ostrich balls.

Wait, if you could get over Rosie O'Donnell in bondage gear, I thought Exit to Eden was pretty funny. And Showgirls was so bad it was entertaining.
2 popular movies I hated- Groundhog Day and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Re: Worst movie ever made...
When I was a teen, and my parents were getting nervous about my growing skepticism of conservative Christianity, they got me (or my brother) a VHS movie titled, "Apocalypse."

You know how some movies are so uninspired, so badly scripted, so poorly acted, so cheaply produced, that you may enjoy it purely for laughs? This film is all that. It sort of comes off as a caricature of rich WASP evangelicalism. Here is a review of it : http://www.christiananswers.net/spotlig ... lypse.html
"Some viewers may also be surprised to see that as Christians are raptured, their clothes are left behind in neatly-folded piles. We asked the producers about this. They referred us to the resurrection of Christ (John 20:6-7), where His head cloth was found folded in the grave."
Yeah, I was wondering about that folded-clothes thing myself -- I thought it was just because the director was either an idiot or took everyone else for an idiot. The whole film made the surprise sudden disappearance of all Christians look very orderly and well kept.

Just watched Shark in Venice.
What a brilliant film.
Apart from the plot, the script, the acting, the sets, the stock footage, the editing and the sound track it was fantastic.
What a way to spend a wet sunday evening.

Re: Worst movie ever made...
I want to think someones faked this review, and I hope so, but it still worries me:
Reviewer wrote:Positive - I watched Apocalypse and had many questions to ask my parents after the movie. Their answers helped, but I still wasn't fully satisfied. So I opened my Bible to Revelation and began reading. I decided to read a chapter a day. That didn't work too well, so I changed it to 3 chapters per week. Apocalypse was a movie that makes you stop and think about the rapture and Jesus Christ. I really enjoyed it.
