Saw "Namesake" yesterday. It was pretty good for another life has good and bad and then you die and still life goes on theme.

Was funny!
I didn't think it was as good as Shaun of the Dead, but it was still really funny.. :D

Loved Hot Fuzz. That will be going in my DVD collection.

Last movie I saw in a theatre was Pirates 3. This too will be a DVD to get.

Last movie I rented was Chasing Amy. Love the Kevin Smith movies.

Ratatouille: Was hilarious.

Transformers: If all you want from the movie is action and pretty girls, you're golden. If you're hoping for much of a plot or anything resembling humor, might want to tone down those expectations.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

I wasn't terribly impressed with either of those when I saw them in the theatre. Both were interesting and uniqe, but neither really drew me into the story and made it enjoyable.

I saw HP5 tonight, and I enjoyed it alot, but I'm sad by how much they have to squish the last couple books because they are so f'n long. They did a better job with that in this movie, kinda making it rapidfire and simplifying alot of plots. Sadly tho, they're definately never going to get as close to book quality as they did with the first 2.

The Shawshank Redemption on DVD last night. Tour de force performances by Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins and an ending that still brings a tear to my eye no matter how many times I watch it.
