The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas - holocaust from view of innocent son of concentration camp commandant,- gripping, heart wrenching, well written, directed, acted and very hard to watch - but worth it

Charlie Wilson's War.

Really a rather interesting look at what happened in Afghanistan after the soviets invaded.

Last seen in theatres - Twilight. WOW.
Last seen at home - Get Smart. That was freaking FUNNY. xD
Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty.
Wash: If I were unwed, I would take you up in a manly fashion.
Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause your pretty.
(Wash and Kaylee, Firefly, Heart of Gold)

It's a broken hearts parade
And I'm putting my heart out on display
There's no masquerade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band strikes up and they're playing a song
Dressed in black, and we're singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I've never been better then I am today

(Broken Hearts Parade - Good Charlotte)

Rented - Wanted and 88 Minutes. I liked both, but it doesn't take a lot to please me. Wanted was "different" so I kinda liked that and I liked 88 Minutes for the Crime aspect.

Am trying to get husband to see Forever Strong (rugby movie filmed in Utah, 2 reasons to see it). This s one the few places it is still playing, but he keeps procrastinating because he's afraid he'll cry like in Rudy. What a dork.

"The day the earth stood still" I actually really liked it, Keanu Reeves' monotone behaviour fit his character.

Having a monotone is certainly what Keanu does best.

Does he say, "Sure." in this one?

That's a line they've given him in every other script, IIRC.

Doubt - kick ass acting and presentation - no tying it all up in a ribbon here
experiencing this with an audience in the middle of red neck nowhere interesting

I just finished Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Really, really good. I can't believe that I'd never heard of it before.

Too many to name, so I'll just name the notable ones:
Schindler's List - Quite excellent. I almost fell asleep halfway through, but that was solved with food.
Mongol - I was extremely surprised at the quality of this film. I definitely recommend it.
21 - That wasn't too bad. Kevin Spacey did a pretty good job.
