What platform?

Re: The Video Games Thread
I've been playing lots and lots of Minecraft. I've established The Almighty Seaside Hole in the Ground of Stuff (TASHitGoS), The Almighty Logging Cabin of Stuff (TALCoS), and a couple small docks. I've also started growing a giant tree on a hill in which I hope to build a fortress, and I've standardized the signage on the Skyrail system that helps people get about the map quickly and reach the various players' settlements.

Fantastic game. I still spend hours getting lost underground after playing it for the past couple of years.

I've started planning Grand Castle Honkwig in Minecraft but unfortunately our server is down indefinitely while problems with the mods are being fixed.

That is one of the downsides to play MC on a shared server...
Even our server admin, who is f-ing brilliant, falls down more often than he'd like.

Re: The Video Games Thread
I want to play Bioshock Infinite. It looks fun.
However, it crashes more often than George Michael (seriously, I've tried it 5 times and the closest I've gotten to playing is 10 seconds of the introduction cutscene) and I'm giving up with it for a day or two until they patch it.

I managed to do a successful docking in kerbal space program. Next step: the mun and back. After that: probably land on the moon of another planet.

It looks amazing. And the reviews are stellar. Maybe when I stop buying a hundred dollars of books at a time and try to free up some disposable cash...dammitall!

Having mucked about with several settings and downloaded AMD's Beta video driver it's now running fairly smoothly. It's playable at least.
I suspect I may need to invest in a new graphics card to keep enjoying shiny things, this one is about 3 years old now

I'm plying this cutting-edge game from 1991 right now. My iPhone has Final Fantasy on it, the first one. It's been updated with graphics and added dungeons, but even the original content is still a blast.

My retro iPhone gaming continues with FF Tactics, War of the Lions. Loving it.
