The Dark Knight
Well the movie lived up to the hype and broke pretty much every record for a weekend at $158.3 million.
I was just thinking that the Joker is gonna be a hell of a hit costume come Halloween!

I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

It also broke a record for most theaters open for the midnight release. It beat out Pirates of the Caribbean 3 by 4 theaters.

I hope you're on the recieving end of an improbability equation wherein something happens to you that's as unlikely as Rob Schneider winning a best actor Oscar on the same day Michael Jackson single handedly captures Osama Bin Laden. ~ Rainswept

As was said on the radio, Ledger's Joker makes Nickelson's Joker look like an SNL skit version.
My only complaint with the whole movie was Batman's voice....some of his lines were almost unintelligible.

Me and my friend at work keep going "RACHEL" in a deep grunt all day long, to mock Batman.

Re: The Dark Knight
I'm watching it right now!
To be fair, I think that has more to do with how the two Jokers characters were written.
Never doubt Nicholson's ability to play a crazy person.
I really can't take this Batman seriously after seeing him in American Psycho.

I'm not saying that I didn't like the movie, but Christian Bale it just totally ruined for me. He will always be that same character.

Re: The Dark Knight
O ya, I've seen that that thing like a million times, in HD.
Not that it didn't warrant every single viewing.
I am psyched for it.
Not dissing the awesomeness of Watchmen, but I do believe that this is a TDK thread.
Just saying...
