I'm pretty sure I would not eat a smoked pig eyeball under any circumstances. :barf:

I had a delicious Mike's Supreme Sub with extra lettuce and extra minced hot peppers from Daniella's Pizzeria, my favorite restaurant.

Lettuce, hot peppers, black pepper, pickles, tomatoes and onions, on top of bacon, pepperoni, American and Provolone cheeses, and lots of freshly cut, tender, best-I've-ever-had roast beef, on a sub roll.

This evening, we had pan-seared scallops with snow peas and orange bell pepper slices in a hot-sweet maple syrup and cayenne pepper glaze. Served over brown rice, with a delicious (home-made) smoky-oaky Gewurztraminer.

It was very yummy.

Fruit leftover from a meeting held last night. Nothing like having the perk of day old fresh fruit.

Mash potato with mince stew. I may have slightly overdone the celery but otherwise it was pretty good.

Garlic + chili prawns

Fry some chopped garlic in olive oil until soft. Add prawns and finely diced chili. Let the prawns cook through then squeeze in the juice of 1 lime. The lime juice mixes with the olive oil to make a fab buttery-citrus sauce.

That sounds delightful - I have some just-about-ripe superhot peppers in the garden that might happen to end up in an American version of that recipe.
