I was just wondering about posting just a drink, as I rarely eat while checking the forums, but I am imbibing a Barq's root beer at the moment.

Meat is Murder...

No it is...it's all chewy, with bits of fat in it and bones...it plays hell with your teeth.

Once I got over the food poisoning from the lettuce, I was able to eat some nice tender juicy roast pork (improves vitality) and a bowl of grapefruit sections (scripted by my training plan).

Now I'm sipping on a heavy cream drink, which is NOT on my training program but helps with the leftover aches from the poisoning. Good thing I'm relatively resistant to poison. I'm still working on my immunity to iocane, so i'll have to stay out of any land wars in asia or battles of wits to the death for a while yet.

Half of a Five Points Burger (from the Five Points Inn) burger with chopped garlic, fried onions, mushrooms and cheese and fries on the side. The other half of the burger and fries shall be lunch.
It's too bad they overcooked the burger. :furious:

I'm sorry, TS. Overcooked burgers practically defy the very purpose of burgers in flavor, nutrition, and power. I hope they at least have some tasty accouterments for it.

You don't want to know about the horrible, horrible things daftbeaker does to beef.
"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

I accidentally did something horrible to beef earlier today, so that's what I'm NOT eating right now. Started a little spiced ground-beef roll then got distracted, and it cooked for twice as long and much hotter than it should have done. It turned into some kind of rubbery cylinder. I'm aware that many people fear meat categorically and burn it into chunks of congealed gravel. People raised on such lumps of coal may not even be able to digest proper meat dishes. It makes me as sad as I can be. There is no spirit left in their food.

I like my meat well cooked to the point of being slightly burnt on the outside
