Isn't it time that we, as proud Pastafarians, could walk into any bar or hotel anywhere in the world and proudly order a Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Shouldn't any religion worth its salt have an official cocktail?
Guys, girls: We're worth it. We deserve this.
Therefore I propose we share some recipe ideas here. Dust off your mixology skills, do some testing, and provide some tasting notes so that other people can decide if they want to try out your idea. I'm not talking about something gross or goofy (nobody on here would do that, right?) ... but a really yummy kick-ass cocktail that everyone, not just dedicated Pastafarians, will want to drink. Think of the pride we'll all feel when we're standing at a bar and the person next to us orders an FSM!!!
Rules:
1. No beer in the cocktail. Beer is beer, and as such is sacred in its own right.
2. No noodles. Well, OK maybe about 1 inch of 1 spaghetti noodle, max (a purely optional garnish, visually reminiscent of the worm in tequila)
3. Absolutely no spaghetti sauce. Tomato juice is acceptable.
4. As a pasta myself, I will pass final judgment on behalf of the Great One.
Let's get mixing and see what we can come up with!
Cheers everyone,
Pasta Simon

Re: Official Cocktail Needed
As pirates are sacred to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I would have thought the beverage of choice would be rum. Just rum.
But if you want cocktail suggestions, then I'm immediately going to break one of your rules because my choice would be to start off with Innis & Gunn Rum finished beer (beer matured in Navy rum casks, so it picks up all of that Navy rum flavour) with some more Navy rum (or other dark rum - a white rum would be too sweet).
Of couse we could always adapt the classic Blackbeard cocktail (keeping with the pirate theme): Captain Morgan rum, Coke and Guinness (although my preference would be for using Kraken Black Spiced Rum rather than Captain Morgan).

Re: Official Cocktail Needed
My suggestion would be the 'pint of beer'. It's quite straightforward:
1. Check the 'beer' in question is not Budweiser (other American canoe waters also apply).
2. If previous dishwaters, throw in bin.
3. If not, apply beer to pint glass, making sure not to cause too much frothing and leaving a head of 1cm or less (so as to be less than 5% of volume and a legal measure in the UK).
4. Hand to customer.
Having said that, anything Bart and Pieces would have been in favour of I will instantly vote for (providing I don't have to drink it in Bart's case).

I think Bart and pieces would have approved?

May I suggest two cherries on a stick to represent the Noodley One's meatballs and a slice of lime on the side to keep scurvy at bay?
