I have a new bottle of Laphroaig (well, technically it was a bottle I bought to replace the bottle I drank of my dad's but I'll replace it tomorrow). It doesn't taste of peat.

It does have a hint of iodine in the smell but it's not hurting my nose and it tastes quite smoooth. If I was being cynical I'd say it had been watered down but I broke the seal myself about an hour ago.

It just doesn't feel like Laphroaig. Any ideas?
