I just had tortellini and vodka sauce for lunch. Leftover from dinner last night. And now I am going to indulge myself with some left over rice pudding.

It has been a while, college has a way of making me not visit this forum (a sad thing indeed).

But today is the last day of classes of my first year!

I just ate a ton of spaghetti since the last time I posted, I can't tell you how many times.

Next year I have a house with some friends and we are going to host monthly spaghetti dinners where everyone dresses like a pirate. There shall be shanties, beer, and wenches! RAmen!

I just ate cheese filled tortellini with marinara sauce for lunch yesterday which is kind of like spaghetti.

Also, for the first time in my college career, I ate Ramen noodles. Usually this would be reason for chastisement...but the only time I have eaten them during my college career was my last meal there. I didn't even realize it until I was halfway done with the bowl, but when I did I sang praises.

Quite differently from my McDonald's lunch, for dinner I went to The Chateau in Waltham, MA, to celebrate Ashley's birthday tomorrow, and I had chicken parmegiana, fettuccine afredo, and toasted ravioli, Italian bread, and for dessert I had chocolate mousse with whipped cream.

Ashley and I made FSM treats with edible googly eyes and chow mein noodles (not spaghetti but still noodles) today. They didn't come out perfect, but they were tasty. We couldn't get the eyestalks to stand up, so we just stuck the eyes in the lump of marshmallow-butter-noodleness, and we used malted milk balls instead of cocoa puffs for meatballs. We also put them on wax paper, which was a bad idea, because you have to peel the paper off as you eat it. We should have put them on graham crackers, as my sister's boyfriend suggested afterward. Another thing I found out is it's impossible to chew the gelatin capsules. You have to swallow them whole or spit them out, and I actually got one stuck around a tooth.

Still, tasty.

Went to a good friend's last night and had excellent Spaghetti Bolognese - very authentic looking. Friends were tickled when I said it was a kind of holy communion.

I ate out at the school cafeteria today, had Capellini with shrimp. Yum!
