Noster populus facit discrepantiam. Our people make the difference

Orbes Volantes Exstare. Flying saucers are real.

Sentio aliquos togatos contra me conspirare. I think some people in togas are plotting against me.

Sic faciunt omnes. Everyone is doing it.

Stultus est sicut stultus facit. Stupid is as stupid does.

Our Pasta, who "Arghh" in heaven, Swallowed be thy shame. Thy Midgit come. Thy Sauce be yum, On top some grated Parmesan. Give us this day our garlic bread. And give us our cutlasses, As we swashbuckle, splice the main-brace and cuss. And lead us into temptation, But deliver us some Pizza. For thine are Meatballs, and the beer, and the strippers, for ever and ever. RAmen.

Ab absurdum - To the absurd

Credo quia absurdum est - I believe it because it is absurd

Sentio aliquos togatos contra me conspirare - I think some people in togas are plotting against me

How about:

  • Eos stupra si jocum nesciunt accipere. (F*ck 'em if they can't take a joke)
  • Semper in excremento sum, solum profunditas mutat. (I am Always in the sh*t. Only the depth varies)
  • Ita, pecuniam nobis re vera solunt hoc agere. (Yes, they actually pay us money to do this)
  • Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. (By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.) (quote from "Faust" via "V for Vendetta"_
  • Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam (I have a catapult. Give me all the money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head.)

Antiquis temporibus, nati tibi similes in rupibus ventosissimis exponebantur ad necem.
Translates to:
In the good old days, children like you were left to perish on windswept crags.

I'm going to memorise that, and tell it to my brother.
A flap of the wings yesterday means big changes tomorrow.
Let's work together to keep the present inevitable.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

Monstrum Volans Pastagenitum (s. Pasta Prodigium Volatus) omnia vincit
(Flying Spaghetti Monster conquers all)
or in concise form:
Pasta omnia vincit
(Pasta conquers all)

Carpe Pastem?

(Seize the Pasta).

And why Latin? Ancient Greek would be just as funky. :p

Πιστεύω γάρ γέλοιος ἐστίν - I believe because it is absurd (Rephrasing what Aedeus already suggested)

There is always the Latin phrase used by Gus McCrea in, "Lonesome Dove." It's on the Hat Creek Cattle Company sign just below the well known, "We Don't Rent Pigs."

Uva Uvam Vivendo Varia Fit

It has a couple of things going for it:

1. You can pretty much claim it says whatever you want it to say.
2. It has the advantage of making as much sense as the rest of religion.
3. Lots of people have heard of it.
