Postby purplegoddess » Wed Oct 08, 2008 6:31 pm

May FSM grant you a good and pasta-filled year, as He inscribes your name in the Recipe Book of Life!

My Yum Kipper recipe for 2008.

*
375g spaghetti
*
Kipper Fillets in Brine, 200g can, undrained
*
½ red capsicum, finely diced
*
2 cups baby spinach leaves
*
½ cup shredded basil leaves

Instructions

*
Cook pasta following packet directions, drain and return to hot saucepan.
*
Gently stir in Kippers and brine, capsicum, spinach and basil, return to heat stirring for 1 minute or until heated through.

Hint
Other pasta such as spiral or penne is suitable for this recipe.
Give us this day our daily taste. Restore to us soups that spoons will not sink in and sauces which are never the same twice. Raise up among us stews with more gravy than we have bread to blot it with Give us pasta with a hundred fillings.

Happy Yummy Kipper to you and yours.

Most of mt team is at a golf tourny today, so it is me and one other person. I told my boss yesterday that I would not be in the office today due to Yom Kippur. She said, "sorry, I didn't here your reason, because I was still suck on you saying you were not coming in." When I told her again about it being Yom Kippur, she realized I was joking and almost hit me.

Good times, love the holiday season...LOL
