I became an ordained Minister... now what?

Postby MonkeysInACan » Thu Jun 26, 2008 7:14 pm

Ok so I just got myself ordained as a Minister :D Now what should I do with my new found spiritual authority?

I was ordained online by the Universal Life Church and I will be preaching on behalf of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in full Pirate regalia! :fsm_yarr:

Good job! It's great to see people taking the initiative to do stuff like that for such a noble and saucy cause!
Our Pasta, who "Arghh" in heaven, Swallowed be thy shame. Thy Midgit come. Thy Sauce be yum, On top some grated Parmesan. Give us this day our garlic bread. And give us our cutlasses, As we swashbuckle, splice the main-brace and cuss. And lead us into temptation, But deliver us some Pizza. For thine are Meatballs, and the beer, and the strippers, for ever and ever. RAmen.

Ah, the old ULC....got to love those guys.....I have my ministership letter from them someplace around here.....

My BIL has actually used his for weddings a couple of times.....course one the couple was already married by a judge earlier in the day, and the other was here in Massachusetts where anyone can register for a one day permit to marry people.

If the occasion arose I certainly would. Anything to spread his noodly love :)

wot? how does a person marry him/herself? (head is swimming and I'm about to faceplant into a plate of noodles)
I excersize regularly, by wading (through red tape), jumping (to conclusions), leaping (through hoops) and running (out of time).

OK, I just got ordained. Need to find some good FSM graphics and stuff for certificates. The ULC stuff is a bit too mainstream. Has anybody put together an official set of, well, anything that I could pirate? Piracy being encouraged here right? :fsm_yarr:

You could always make your own. Give me a week of playing around with Photoshop and I could probably knock some out.
