Re: FSM a Joke: Personal Interpretation

People are not defined by the groups they are associated with. Therein lies the problem, Rev. In a lot of cases they are, because they define themselves by the group they choose to associate with. Hell, I do it, too. I associate myself with the FSM. In a way, that defines me. But I encourage, and g...

Re: The Last Post Thread, 2.0

I said precisely what I meant. Had I meant something else I would have been just as precise. Last precision Post (in the name of farfalla). RRRLP#2608 But in your precision, you were ambiguous. Most of communication is not which words are said, but teh context in which they were said. If you were t...

Re: FSM a Joke: Personal Interpretation

I think that the open letter was a satire on the ID movement, using similar logic and reasoning (if you can call it that). However, the Gospel (in my opinion) was mean spirited and aimed at Christianity and the concept of creationism more than the ID movement. Struck me as pretty damned funny. And ...

Re: Corrupt a wish.

Granted. You are now covered, head to toe, in Maori tribal designs representing strength, unity, and peace. Unfortunately, the Maori think you're a poser, and everyone else thinks you're just plain creepy.

I wish water boiled faster.

Re: What are you reading right now?

Finished reading Reading For Beginners. Woah. The storyline is so complex, excellently developed characters... wow. Seriously, on holidays, I read Animal Farm again, and am half way through 1984. Both never fail to be great reads. So I took this class in high school called Media Analysis - one of t...
