Re: Help with Higgs?

Eloquently put Mr Hunter. I have offered to teach him, yet he literally doesn't heed my words. However, you can lead a man to pasta, but you cannot make him eat. I can't as yet like him, but I would not turn him away if he was in need of sustenance - spiritually or spaghettily. :zen: On the other ha...

Re: It isn't so much a story, more a word.

Well, the Mormons have been back on several occasions now. I haven't yet converted them, but they've had some interesting discussions with us, and enjoyed Feynmann's Spaghetti Theory (that it will not normally snap in two pieces when bent) - even taking some with them and telling other Mormons! We k...

Help with Higgs?

I hope I'm justified and correct in my handling of Mr Greene. Would any of my fellow pirates be interested in wading into the shallows and correcting me where I might wobble on the deck? The FSM made a simple post and it's kinda getting out of hand. https://plus.google.com/104168088234260...

It isn't so much a story, more a word.

"Farfallelujah!" It came to me quite by chance - the FSM must have accidentally swiped me with his Noodle of Knowledge this morning. I was cheering with some of my fellow Pastafarians on GooglePlus, (I'm Amber Petchey, if you want to join my Pastafarian circle) as an Italian mar...

Re: Name change on ordainment?

I've done some looking into it and I would have to be a minister. A reverend earns the title and usually has a high level of education - I'm concerned that it might be disrespectful to others beliefs if I should be named "reverend". Unless of course the prophet should choose to bestow upon...

Re: The faithful!

I can if you have any suggestions as to where to start ASJ? All pasta is good pasta. We had garlic cheese tortellini served in a pesto sauce tonight. Yum! Praise be to our Noodly Lord! I also did enough spaghetti and meatballs to feed 8 when we had friends round. I am determined to convert some of t...

Re: Noodley in the UK

Hallo from the Pirate's Port of Grimsby! (North East Lincolnshire)

Myself and me shipmate are Pastafarians of the ordained kind - the faithful ones, the Fedelini... True believers are always welcome here and we always have carbo-goodness available. :zen:

Re: The faithful!

R-Amen. Belief in His Noodly Goodness (and tucking into the same, in times of need) has sustained us through some of the worst of times and will provide for us in better times, I am sure. I believe - I am one of the Fedelini.

Re: The faithful!

*laughing* Arrr, I have gone back to me home port - good ol' Grimsby of England! Pirates since back before the Vikings, my family have an ancient history of seafaring. (I ended up in Somerset UK because a friend wanted help with the rent. 400 miles away from where I was currently living. Heh, I coul...

Pun absolutely welcomed and I'm loving "Noodlese."

(I even cultured a piratey accent due to five years spent in Somerset.)

Re: The New Convert Thread - MAKE YOUR FIRST POST HERE

I fully intend to! :D
The DVLA says almost the same thing - "You must not wear a hat or cover your head unless for medical or religious reasons" - as I'm an ordained Pastafarian minister, I have every right to wear religious headwear: I'm a pastor.

*giggles* Pastor. Pasta. Sameysamey. Heh.

The faithful!

I was researching pasta types, both to reconnect with my Italian roots AND to come up with great "religious" phrases ("Holy cannelloni!") when I discovered Fedelini... Fedelini - a pasta described as being between spaghetti and vermicelli in size, literally translates as " t...

Name change on ordainment?

My partner and I are being ordained, but I wanted to know what to do when we get married - do I need to update my certificate, or is it perfectly applicable under my maiden name? Also, I fancy screwing with my records at work - does the ordainment qualify me to change my title to "reverend"...

Re: The New Convert Thread - MAKE YOUR FIRST POST HERE

My partner and I recently applied for ordainments - time to get our own back on the creationist Bible Botherers in town - WITH certification. By the way, I have to update my driver's license soon - and I fully intend to wear a colander when I get the photo taken. I quote from the UK passport board: ...
