oh, don't get me wrong, I don't think the Vulgate is ideal, but since so many Christian movements are Paul-centered, these days, AT LEAST the paulist parts should be read in Latin. If you want to be an adult in Judaism you learn at least a little Hebrew. Ditto Islam and Arabic. To be an adult Christ...
